Frequency 3 is a three-year poetic artistic process that focuses on radio art and expands to the field of visual arts, public art and other formats.

 

Frequency 3 was begun in January 2023 and the first episode of the series was published in March 2023.

 

The duo basically works with Cíntia Molter recording in Cuba, Paloma Klisys making interlocutions with the collaborators, scripting, editing the program in Brazil and also performing artistic drifts and other research procedures in Cuba. 

 

In the second semester of 2023, Paloma was in Cuba making urban sound drifts and capturing images to feed the bank of sounds and images related to the creative process.

 

We celebrate and thank the Brazilian artists and researchers who were in Cuba during 2023 and who generously collaborated as Frecuencia 3 correspondents. They are: Rosane Preciosa, Beth Brait, Daniel Joppert, Marcelo Wasen and Maria do Carmo Leite.

 

Behind the scenes, in informal cultural support to the creative process, we highlight the collaborations of:  Rita Maria, Lea Arafat, Gabriel Felipe Jacomel, Guilherme Pinkalsky, Henrique Pakkato, Flavia Spinardi, Dimitri Klisys Kolinyak, Amab, Fernando Allo and Revista Kurumatá.

 

In March 2024, the cycle of the first year of the proposal is completed and we will continue throughout 2024 and 2025 with the publication of three more shows and live performance, providing the public an unique experience through the use of different artistic languages (sound art, video art, photography, poetry), enhanced by the use of technical resources such as sound manipulation in real time and video mapping.

 

Reaffirming our desire and objective to explore the expansion of the possibilities of contact between artists and researchers from Brazil, Latin America and other territories, we continue with an open invitation/call for invention until March 2024.
